Refunds and cancellations

These rules apply to educational seats at Beam Line Trading Lab. We do not sell shipped goods, subscriptions, or software licences, so those models are not covered here.

Who may request a refund

The person named on the confirmation, or someone writing with that person’s clear authority. Send the request to studio@utilitybeamline.click or telephone +995 599 120 349, and include the sitting date and the name on the seat.

Timeframe

Ask at least 48 hours before a studio, RSI lab, or private review if you want a full refund of fees already paid for that sitting. Cohort seats follow the deposit and week rules below.

Full refund

A confirmed seat cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice, before the sitting starts, is refunded in full. If we cancel a sitting—illness, room closure, or too few chairs filled—we refund in full or offer another date, at your choice.

Partial refund

If you leave a sitting after it has started, the unused time is not refunded, except where we agree the room failed to deliver the described work. For the six-week cohort, withdrawal after week one and before week three returns half of the remaining unused weekly portion; after week three the remaining weeks are not refunded because the journal work is underway and the chair cannot be refilled cleanly.

Non-refundable items

Printed worksheets once handed out are not bought back. A deposit that held a cohort chair becomes non-refundable once the first evening has begun, except when we cancel the cycle. Travel, lodging, and your own printing costs are never refunded by the lab.

Deposits

A cohort deposit holds the chair. It is applied to the full seat price. If you withdraw more than seven days before the first evening, the deposit is returned. Inside seven days, the deposit is kept unless we fill the chair from a waiting list, in which case we return it.

Rescheduling

Studio, lab, and private review may be moved once, subject to a free chair, if you give 48 hours’ notice. A second move is treated as a cancellation unless we agree otherwise. Cohort evenings are not individually rescheduled; missed weeks may be made up only if the same cycle still has a spare table hour, which is uncommon.

No-shows

If you do not arrive and do not send word by the sitting’s start, the fee for that seat is kept. Private review folders sent ahead are still prepared; that work is treated as started.

Work already started

Once a private review sitting has opened, or once a studio or lab has begun mark-up, the fee for that session is earned. We will still share any worksheet you would have received that day if you had to leave early for an emergency.

Purchased materials

We do not sell a separate shop of kits. Any printed pack included in a sitting is part of the seat. It has no standalone refund once used or taken from the room.

Process and timing

We confirm the refund in writing, then return the money by the same method it was paid, usually within ten working days after we agree the amount. If payment was in cash in the room, we return cash in the room by appointment or by bank transfer to an account you name.

Exceptions

Serious illness, bereavement, or travel disruption you document within a week of the sitting will be treated with more room than the 48-hour rule. We decide those case by case and record the outcome.
